This is like the big bad wolf jumping out from a dark corner. This Super Tuscan is a blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet is a step up from a great Chianti Reserva. Medium finish with aromas of black berries and a hint of coffee, medium to strong astringency. Tasted May 10, June 5, August 26, (wife’s birthday) and November 27, 2009.
